Macro Flower Shots

We've had some nice weather lately, so I had to get out of the house to take some shots! Unfortunately, I don't have any pretty, flowering trees in my yard, so I snuck over to my neighbor's to get these. Settings were RAW, Av mode, ISO 400. On the first, f/1.8, ss 1/4000, 50mm lens. On the second, f/5.6, 1/500, 75-300mm lens. I was really hoping to get that waterdrop falling in the first one, but couldn't manage it - oh well! CC always appreciated. Thanks!

Great color on these. Love the DOF. Saw your softballs on the last post...they are near and dear to me too. My older DD is a senior in college playing her last season of softball.

These are lovely flowers and I like that pink color. Can't wait to get out with the flowers myself...we do have signs of green grass, so hopefully not too much longer.

THe water droplet is so cool. You should try cropping in to she if you caught a reflection in it. Both pictures have really good DOF. I wish I had a macro lens.
