Kim

My latest senior girl. Kim was a super sweet girl, and we had a lot of fun on her shoot! It got a little crazy though, in one of the alleys that I look to shoot in (the one with my favorite blue door) we saw the police shaking down a drunk. We scooted out of there pretty quickly! :)

Sweet Sisters

Kaylee and Rylee are typical sisters. They're very different from one another and they have their moments with knock down drag out fights, but when it comes down to it, they're always there for each other...

Feliz Cumpleanos, Mi Amigo

It's JJ's Birthday!!! This old fellow is 11 years old today. We got him from a breeder 11 years ago in March when he was just 6 weeks old. We named him Juan Jose' Diablo (JJ for short) after Juan Gonzalez and Jose' Canseco of the Texas Rangers. He used to be a little bit of a terror - he really liked biting Ryan's friends when they came over, but he's mellowed out in his old age. He's happy now with a sock (his favorite thing in the world) some table scraps every now and then, a rub on the head, and a warm pillow to sleep on. Happy Birthday Sweet Puppy!!!

Rooster Bear

Rylee (aka Rooster Bear) is becoming quite the little model - just like big sister Kaylee!!!

Kaylee, you've been very patient...

And I'm proud of you! Kaylee is by far my most willing model, and we always have a great time when we have a photoshoot! I had to include one by my favorite new backdrop - a funky retro avocado green wall! I'll have the rest done later - tell Rylee she's up next! :)

Chance, Brynn and Corbin

The latest pic of my great-niece and great-nephews! (Oh my gosh - that makes me sounds so old to say GREAT niece and nephews! Did I mention that I'm INCREDIBLY young to be a great aunt????) :)

Little Cutie

I had the opportunity to shoot a REALLY large family on Christmas Day - it was going to be the only time they could all be together, and our Christmas was pretty much over. We had dinner on Christmas Eve, then opened presents on Christmas Morning, then Mike had to go to work - unfortunately people don't stop coming to the Emergency Room just because it's Christmas! Anyway, this little sweetie was the smallest of the 27 family members there!

Just one more!!!

Had to add this one of Colby!!! :)

Just a couple more basketball shots

Here's some shots of Tylor and Nate, with an HDR filter added. **ETA** used my 85mm in AV mode, f/ 1.8 - 2.8, ISO 1600

Old pic, New edit

Since my blog header was Christmas themed, I needed to change it up. I went looking for a fun picture to put in it, and I found some photos from when we went to the National Aquarium in D.C. about a year and a half ago. I snapped a photo of this handsome guy while we were there, but I was less than impressed with it at the time - lots of distracting stuff in the background, and scratches and smudges on the outside of the glass. Well, I've learned a little bit of what Photoshop Elements can do, so I thought I would try to salvage it and clean it up a bit. While it's not the most technically correct photo by any means, it's mucho improved!
